2026 Elections
Officers & Board of Advisors Ballot
In accordance with the ITA Bylaws, the membership will elect members of the Board of Advisors on a tri-annual basis. The Board of Advisors consists of the President and no fewer than twelve additional Board members.
The ITA Governance Committee will open elections for the next slate of officers on March 1, 2026. The newly elected officers will begin their terms at the ITA Annual General Meeting in summer 2026.
Elections are open to ITA members in good standing. We encourage all eligible members to participate and make their voices heard in selecting the leaders who will guide and represent our organization.
On March 1, 2026, all active ITA members (trial e-memberships excluded) will receive an email from the International Trombone Association with instructions on how to cast their vote. Members may vote for:
- 1st Vice President (President-Elect) or a write-in candidate
- 2nd Vice President or a write-in candidate
- Up to twelve (12) candidates for the Board of Advisors
Each member may vote once, and all ballots will be completely anonymous. Voting will remain open from March 1 through March 25, 2026. Election results are expected to be published by the ITA Governance Committee on trombone.net in early April.
Members who do not currently have an email address registered with the ITA and wish to vote should contact us as soon as possible at elections@trombone.net.
