The International Trombone Association is looking for a Trombone News Coordinator for the ITA Journal and an Online News Coordinator for the ITA website (trombone.net). ITA Journal Trombone News Coordinator
Requirements
- Editing skills; a strong grasp of grammar and language use. Knowledge of MLA and Chicago Style manuals, as well as music writing style conventions.
- Deadline driven, strong time management, organization, and prioritization abilities.
- A relevant international network in the trombone world.
Work
- Acquisition, selection, editing and writing of news items for the ITA General News section of the ITA Journal.
- Assisting and advising the ITA Journal managing editor on developing the ITA GeneralNews section and beyond.
- This is a volunteer position with limited benefits, such as a free ITA membership and an excellent opportunity to expand your trombone network.
