DESCRIPTION:  \nUnlike many festival-type opportunities\, this is an intense workshop for low brass players to really engage a wide range of musical\, stylistic\, technical\, and professional issues in-depth with unprecedented access to some of the most respected low brass players. \nParticipating performers include a wide range of professional symphony musicians\, freelancers\, college teachers\, graduate and undergraduate music majors\, advanced high school students and dedicated amateurs. SUMMARY:Festival of Trombones
DESCRIPTION:Study with world-class trombonists and faculty in daily masterclasses and group warm ups. Play in trombone choir and hear daily concerts. Festival of Trombones (FoT) is a 3 ½ day interactive festival that strives to motivate and educate trombonists of all levels in Middle School\, High School\, and University. \n\n\n\nClasses are taught in age-appropriate groupings\, and there are small and large ensemble opportunities that include fun and exciting repertoire. An esteemed international group of Artists and Faculty teach classes ranging from basic fundamentals to advanced techniques. At the end of each day\, the Artists and Faculty will present showcase performances. Our daily showcase performances allow our students to see how the faculty apply the same concepts taught in the daily classes in live recitals. The Artists and Faculty are deeply committed to music education and fostering an inclusive\, fun and relaxed environment. Come for the full camp or single days at a daily price!

DCTW grew to 65 participants last summer but continues to be known for building community while leading the industry with the amount of attention participants receive in lessons\, chamber music\, and career seminars.
