DESCRIPTION:Denis Wick will be remembered at a special lunchtime concert at 1.00pm on Thursday\, 5 June. \n\n\n\nThe concert\, to be held at Regent Hall\, London\, will celebrate Denis’s life in music\, featuring works written for or associated with him. \n\n\n\nPerformers include soloists Brett Baker\, Matthew Gee\, and Christopher Houlding. Two leading chamber groups: Connaught Brass and Slide Action. \n\n\n\nDudley Bright and Bob Hughes will direct the Royal Academy of Music Trombone Ensemble in Gordon Jacob’s Octet\, and Eric Crees will conduct a large ensemble in music from the Bones Galore album\, which featured Denis on alto trombone.
