A multi-award-winning trombonist\, keyboard player\, arranger\, orchestrator and voiceover artist\, Carol has toured and recorded extensively with stars such as Sting\, Queen\, Rita Ora\, Seal\, Rod Stewart\, Elbow\, Amy Winehouse\, Bon Jovi\, Ellie Goulding and appeared on many renowned television programs with stars such as MUSE\, Harry Connick Jr\, Michael Bublé\, Taylor Swift and so many more. Carol can also be found working with internationally renowned ensembles and some of the world’s top orchestras such as playing guest principal trombone with the London Symphony Orchestra on many soundtracks. Regular film and TV session work fills a lot of Carol’s diary and she can also be frequently found performing in London’s West End shows. She is a professor of trombone at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music in London and the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester where she\, herself\, gained the highest qualifications possible.\n\nCarol is currently President of the International Trombone Festival Board\, a post she has held since 2017\, and in 2023 became the first female President of the International Trombone Association. It serves as a laboratory extension of the trombone studio. The group tours regionally\, nationally\, and internationally\, and performs regularly in the Austin area. Members of the  trombone studio have a strong tradition of excellence by consistently winning prizes in international\, national\, and local solo competitions; and\, upon graduation\, securing important post in performing organizations and educational institutions.  \n\n\n\nOver the years\, members of the trombone studio have performed for visiting dignitaries\, several Texas Governors\, and a U.S. President. The award-winning University of Texas Jazz Bones is a smaller subset of the larger Trombone Choir.
