DESCRIPTION:Formerly known as the Santa Fe Trombone Summit\, the Southwest Trombone Conference allows us to continue to expand our offerings and provide an even better conference for the trombone community. This year\, we are looking forward to welcoming Guest Artist Amanda Stewart (Associate Principal Trombone of the St Louis Symphony Orchestra). She\, along with Faculty members Christopher Bassett\, Dr. Christopher Buckholz\, and Jonathan Randazzo will lead masterclasses\, chamber coachings\, daily warmups\, clinics\, and more. We also are inviting a new category of Presenters to join us at STC and add their voice to the conference with a 50-minute lecture of their own choice. \nIn addition\, the STC is excited to announce our first ever Solo Competition sponsored by Griego Mouthpieces.
