SUMMARY:Third Coast Trombone Retreat
DESCRIPTION:The Third Coast Trombone Retreat returns to the scenic shores of Lake Michigan in Montague\, Michigan for a transformative 7-day trombone immersion. Open to advanced high school\, college\, and amateur trombonists\, the retreat offers a comprehensive experience including private lessons\, masterclasses\, chamber music\, trombone choir\, mock auditions\, and performances throughout the local community. Participants will also engage in sessions on performance psychology\, wellness\, entrepreneurship\, and career-building—developing not only as performers\, but as well-rounded 21st-century musicians. \n\n\n\nWith a highly selective participant program (including lessons\, performances\, and free housing) and flexible auditor options\, the retreat fosters a supportive and inspiring environment across venues throughout Montague. A typical day includes warm-ups\, ensemble playing\, lessons\, masterclasses\, and evening recitals or special events\, all set within a peaceful lakeside setting. Shuttle service is available from nearby airports\, and accepted applicants will be notified by April 20.
