Magnus Nilsson

Swedish trombonist Magnus Nilsson (who makes his current home in the Netherlands) began his studies at the Malmö College of Music in Sweden, completed his studies at the Utrecht School of the Arts in the Netherlands. After completing his coursework, he remained in the Netherlands, working as a freelance trombonist with symphony orchestras, military bands, and ensembles across Europe, the US, the Middle East, and South America. He was involved as producer in the 2000 International Trombone Festival hosted by the Utrecht School of the Arts. He also serves as a business director in various roles within the Dutch cultural scene.

Apart from the trombone Nilsson spends time following the success of the Swedish soccer team Malmo FF.
