Beltline Bones Releases Album ‘Technological Eclipse’

Beltline Bones

Beltline Bones releases Technological Eclipse, its second studio album, on New Focus Recordings. Self-described as a “new music ensemble disguised as a trombone quartet,” the quartet continues to explore electroacoustic compositions, featuring works by Eve Beglarian, Jorge Variego, Alec Love, Brooks Frederickson, and ensemble member Cole Bartels.

Listeners can stream the album on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and other platforms, or purchase it through Bandcamp and the New Focus Recordings website.

“Beltline Bones is assembling a compelling repertoire of electroacoustic works that balances traditional roles for the trombone in an ensemble setting with a wide palette of sonic and stylistic vocabularies. In a field driven primarily by mixed instrument ensembles, it is refreshing and intriguing to hear the creativity that is engendered within a homogenous timbral context like the trombone quartet.” — Dan Lippel, New Focus Recordings.
