Brad Edwards has accepted the trombone professor position at Arizona State University beginning in the Fall of 2016. He leaves his current position at the University of South Carolina.
He commented, “I am thrilled to join an excellent faculty and a program with strong support for graduate and undergraduate studies. I am grateful for all that Douglas Yeo has done at ASU during his tenure.”
Each year, ASU, offers one trombone Teaching Assistant position.
Edwards is known primarily for his books, including Lip Slurs, the Trombone Craft and Bass Trombone Craft books and more recent additions including Lip Slur Melodies and Tuning Drone Melodies.
