Thomas Bough is composing a new concerto for bass trombone and band. The solo part will be scored at the professional level, while the band parts will be scored at a 3.5-4.0 level of difficulty. The music will be composed, scored and typset during the early months of 2022. It will be available for performance by the summer of 2022. A piano reduction will be published as well, making the music accessible for recital or festival performance.
