New Eastman Wind Ensemble recording, featuring the Tyzik Trombone Concerto, featuring Jim Pugh

Summit Records has just released the latest Eastman Wind Ensemble and conductor, Mark Scatterday‘s recording of music of Jeff Tyzik, entitled “Joyride”. This is their second CD solely of Jeff’s music and features the Wind Ensemble setting of his Trombone Concerto, performed by the Ensemble and soloist, Jim Pugh.

Jim previously recorded the orchestra version with the Colorado Symphony on the Albany Records CD, “X-Over Trombone“. It is available on CD and most streaming platforms.
