This classic and beautiful work has been arranged for many combinations of instruments, including trombone ensembles. This arrangement is transposed down a sixth to D-flat major and keeps the simple accompaniment structure of the original. The publisher rates it at Grade 4 primarily because the first part stays consistently between d-flat1 and a-flat1. However, in all other respects this is a Grade 3 arrangement that can be played by four tenors, or three tenors and bass trombone. Simple and beautiful, the arrangement can work with a high school level quartet or as a nice supplement to any trombone choir program.
