Essentially this is a brass quintet arrangement designed as a trombone feature using one of the most popular trombone solos, the Romance by Axel Jorgensen. A very useful setting suitable for college or professional groups, this could be used for recitals or school and community programs. The arranger has tried to keep to the original range and voicing of the piano accompaniment.  As a result, the trumpet 1 part is scored for a competent piccolo trumpet player. The rest of the ensemble writing is very manageable. Some level of musical maturity will be required to handle the moments of rubato in the solo part. Overall, a useful arrangement. Grade 4.
