Score and parts

Primary Genre: Brass Ensemble - 3 brass

The title is an eye catcher and so are the many interesting rhythms. There are five against three, two against three, five against four against three and so on making this a difficult piece to rehearse. Much practice and rehearsal time is needed to turn the notes into music. Ranges are reasonable. The trombone part involves some tenor clef and cup mutes are required for both trombone and trumpet. The composer requests a B-flat trumpet be used, however in order to increase rehearsal efficiency, it may be advisable to work from the full score where the trumpet part is given in C.
