Score and parts

Primary Genre: Trombone Ensembles - 2 trombones

These three duos were originally composed for clarinet and bassoon. The first two duos have three movements, fast-slow-fast, while the third movement has two, the second being Theme and variations. Trombone 1 is given in tenor clef and trombone 2 in bass clef. These are not easy works in that there are many notes and few rests. Competent players only may apply! There can be much studio enjoyment here with possible performance in the right circumstance. In addition to playing through these duos with another trombonist, I tried them with a trumpet player on the first part who just had to adjust the key signature and play as a B-flat treble clef part – it worked and we liked them that way also.
