Score and parts

Primary Genre: Brass Ensemble - 6+ brass (choir)

William Pardus is Professor Emeritus of Music at Keene State College in New Hampshire. His composing and arranging output is quite large and continues to grow. Rigaudon is a familiar tune set here as a utilitarian processional in F. The entire piece is stated just once but an optional Dal Segno enables open ended repetition. Range and technical requirements all lie within the scope of an intermediate brass choir and everyone is afforded rest. Scoring is varied in a pleasing way, beginning and ending full. This is a fine, useful processional for brass.
