Primary Genre: Brass Ensemble - 3 brass

There can never be enough of this type literature for brass ensemble and in particular, the brass trio. This well scored arrangement is playable by competent student ensembles and can be so useful for professional or adult amateur players. The professional trio that read this had little trouble making it sound. The three instruments all play in comfortable ranges with few rhythmic problems to solve. The introduction is cleverly scored for muted trumpet and stopped horn while the trombone gives just a hint of Jingle Bells. This nearly six minute work can be a problem for endurance but the arranger has placed helpful rests for the trumpet player. Brass trios will want this work in their libraries!
